Idaho!

Well, I was recently looking at my blog and have missed it! I love seeing all the cute pictures I posted and reading what we did that day.  The kids were so much younger. A lot has happened since my last entry. Dad passed away on July 23,2019 of auto immune liver disease. One of the worst days of my life was seeing Dad die. It was really hard! I am so glad I was there when he passed though. It was very spiritual and special. We lost Dallas not too long after that. I was in a movie theater with Kylee in Tacoma when Mom called me and gave me the dreaded news that Dallas took his own life. That was really hard and still is. He had his whole life ahead of him. Too young to go. Then, last year, we lost Mom to her dang cancer. She died on May 12,2022. Same day as Aaron's mother's birthday. I Will never forget. I was trying to fly out there, but I was a day short. Mom knows I tried though and that is what matters to me. Mama knows. We live in a crazy world! We have crooked politicians left and right! Stolen elections, Covid happened. A bunch of bullcrap with that! People are dying left and right from the mrna covid vaccine that they the govt. was pushing so hard for everyone to get. Ends up, it gives you heart problems like cardiomyopathy, freaking young kids, young athletes just falling over on the field, dying!! Glad I don't listen to the crooked government!! People wore masks for a good year cause they tried to scare us into getting the scary Covid 19! It turns out it was all to steal the election in my opinion and have the government control us. We are in the end days I am sure of it. Just when I think it can't get worse, it does! My advice to everyone is live your best life, don't listen to politicians on the left or right side! They are all crooked in my opinion.  Be self sufficient. No one is coming to save you!

Anyway, we moved from Washington state to Rigby Idaho almost 2 years ago!! This summer will be 2 years in August! We really love Idaho!! So glad we moved here! The kids are thriving and doing so good in all aspects of life! We live in a gorgeous, brand new home that we had built. We are loving it! I love that we live so close to Utah. I can drive down there and be there in a couple hours if I wanted to. The winters are pretty harsh here in Rigby Idaho. Much colder , more wind and miserable to drive in. However, you get used to it!

Kingston played freshman football this past fall and did so good!! We are so proud of him!! He plans on playing sophomore year this year in the fall. I love watching him and the team play. Boys of fall!! Kylee played soccer and is quite talented at it! She is little and fierce and she isn't scared of the bigger girls. She just turned 11 and had a fun friend birthday party at our house. Kingston turns 14.5 tomorrow and it is a big day because he gets to start drivers ed!! We go to the DMV tomorrow to get his permit!! It is unbelievable how fast time flies! I miss the kids being litlle, but I know they have to grow up! Ha ha!

Kylee will be starting snowboarding school next week. Kingston did it last winter and now he can shred the slopes with his friends. Aaron takes them to Kelly canyon ski resort here a lot! I injured my knee falling down our stairs last September. I feel much better now, but it isn't back to normal. I can still jog on it, but my running career is over I think. I hope not. I love running that is for sure. I am about 40lbs overweight and feel it! Hopefully, I can lose some of it to be healthy again.

Anyway, that is a good start to re start my blog. I sure miss Mom, Dad, and Dallas. Life isn't the same without them! I feel Mom and  Dad close to me though. They aren't far away.

Winter has arrived!

Tam, this blog post is for you! Ha ha!! I am back at posting! At least today. Winter has finally hit the Pacific Northwest! The kids had no school today and already got word that they have a 2 hour delay start tomorrow. Probably end up canceling. We went to work at the office this morning and Richie was the only one there. He said his car was all over the road about 7 am this morning. He was a bit nervous driving but made it. We ended up closing up and going home around 2 pm. I think the roads will be worse tomorrow. Super icy!  Be safe out there!

Kylee's primary talk

We had our last Sunday in the Manorwood ward last Sunday.  Kylee was able to give a talk her last Sunday. It was  on being thankful.  This is her talk.
Heavenly Father has given us many things for which we can be thankful. The beautiful  world we live in, family and friends who love us, and scriptures that can help us learn about Heavenly Father and Jesus.
Remember to thank Heavenly Father often for blessings that he gives to us. We can thank him by praying  to Him, singing praises, being reverent, being a good example, and obeying His  commandments.
I am very thankful  for the Holy Ghost, sharing, my family. I am thankful for Jesus making animals. I hope we can all show kindness and love this Thanksgiving season. In the name of Jesus Christ , Amen

New Class Representative!

Guess who won the new class representative at their school? KINGSTON!!! He had to go up against 3-4 other kids and give a speech and everything and he WON!! I am so proud of our boy! He is making great decisions in life and becoming a leader! He is now the 5th grade class representative for his class at Daffodil Valley Elementary !!  Way to go CHINGY!!!

New house!

We are officially closed and recorded on our new home!! Our new address is : 15009 96th St. E.
Puyallup WA 98372. You can look up the pictures on zillow  if you'd like. We have a lot of work to do but we are so excited!! We have one acre of land and it is sweet!  We are letting Tom, the previous owner to stay a couple more days to get his stuff loaded up and then he's headed to weezer Idaho! Have you heard of Weezer? I have only heard of the band. I don't know if that is how it is spelled but I thought it was a cool name for a town! I guess it is spelled Weiser Id. Pronounced like the band name. Pretty cool. He is glad to be moving on. I am happy for all of us! I can't wait to see the transformation!

New Shower

I keep forgetting to post pictures of this awesome, brand new, gorgeous shower that Aaron installed. He did have a little help. Richie cut some of the tiles and I grouted some of them. It was a lot of hard work, but so happy it turned out so nice and pretty. The shower door arrived on Friday and was installed Friday night.

Sunday

The kids had their primary program this afternoon at church. They both did so great! Sang every word to the songs, spoke clearly when it was their turn to speak and did a great job! Several people complimented them. I was a proud Mama. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of them all decked out in their Sunday finest. Oh well. Welcome to a new week!  Last week of September!  I just took a picture of them. Kylee is still in her dress and I curled her hair really pretty. Kingston was lookin handsome in his white shirt and tie today. I did his hair too. :)

Saturday morning

I got a call from Trevor Williams , one of our tenants from a duplex we manage in Fife. He called me from work and said his car was stolen and lost or couldn't find the key to his duplex and needed some help. Poor guy was distraught and I talked to him and said how sorry I was to hear this. Apparently the people that stole his car went and robbed a liquor store with his car.  He was so grateful that I was able to meet him at his residence with a key. He hugged me! He was cool cause he had a 49er's lanyard around  his neck. :)  We ended up driving there to meet him and the owners of the property were there doing yard work. Crazy morning for sure. We did get happy donuts though so that was awesome too!  Richie is taking his real estate exam this morning, wishing him luck! Haven't heard if he passed or not. We also got good news, we will be closing on our new house next week Wednesday!! September 26th! We are all excited and already have a buyer for our current home!! YIPPEE! AND, it is the first day of fall today!

Prophet's visit

We all went up to Seattle last night to Safeco field to listen to our prophet, President Nelson, President Eyring, and  sister Wendy Nelson speak to 49,089 people !! It was the biggest fiasco getting up there to find parking. We barely made it in before 6 pm ! We had to park 4 blocks away approximately. It was pouring rain on the drive home and kind of scary. We made it though! It was so worth going to hear the prophet speak. I really loved all their talks. I didn't hear much of Pres. Eyring as he is soft spoken and there were cheesebags around us talking and baby's touching us and smelling of poopy diapers.  Some parents are disgusting! They need to learn how to discipline their dang kids.  Anyway, regardless the message was wonderful and it was  awesome to be there. Derrinda rode up with us and that was fun. Here are a few pics I took.

Kylee's cute picture

Kylee has been working really hard on this picture. She colored it perfectly!

New School!!

We were so excited to start school this morning !!! Kingston is now going to Daffodil Valley Elementary in Sumner and Kylee is going to Maple Lawn Elementary in Sumner. They are about one mile from each other. Kingston couldn't get into Maple Lawn cause they were at their capacity for 5th graders there, so we weren't sad cause Kingston attended Daffodil in Kindergarten. It is kind of tricky getting them to two different schools at the same start time though. Everyone was so nice at both schools and showed us around. We really loved both their teachers. Kingston has Ms. Gray and Kylee has Mrs. Long. Here is a picture I took this morning of them at their schools.
