Fishing

Aaron took the kids fishing again to Tanwax lake.  They caught more fish! This is what they brought home to eat.

Gave Mom a Perm

I gave Mom a perm yesterday. I think it turned out great! We didn't get an after photo because it was late and Mom needed the solution to stay in overnight before she curled it with the curling iron.:) I have been going to help get Tammy ready since Thursday evening while Lisa is in Idaho. We have been having a great time! Here's a few pictures.

Fishing

Aaron and the kids have been fishing! They go to Tanwax lake near Eatonville/Graham. They catch all kinds of fish every time they go. They are headed there this morning again! Kylee caught 10 fish last time they went. Hopefully Kingston will be able to catch some fish. So far they have thrown the fish back that they caught, but I think today they might keep em! Fry fish tonight I guess.

Swimming

Last Tuesday, the kids and I met Derrinda and the boys at Mom, Dad, and Tam's  place to go swimming. They have a cool bull- inflatabull toy to ride on. Kylee did really good on it and stayed on a long time, Kingston had a really hard time staying on it, kept losing his balance. Anyway, it was a hot day and super fun! Thanks for letting us come out and swim!

Coloring Contest

Kingston and Kylee both entered the coloring contest at Walmart to win a backpack and school supplies. I got a call yesterday morning telling me that Kingston had won!! I was so excited for him! There isn't much that we don't win. Ha ha. We are pretty lucky!!  Kylee won last year at the Bonney Lake Walmart. So, this was cool! Here is the picture he colored and his new backpack!

Willy Wonka Jr. Play

The first performance is over! The kids did such a good job! Kingston and Kylee played the candyman kids.  We were so shocked and happy to see Grandma and Grandpa walk into the theater! It really meant a lot to the kids and us! I know it wasn't easy for them and I am so glad they made it! Thanks to Aunty Lisa and cousin Richie for coming too! It was so great !! When Kingston first  started this play he was hating it and said he didn't want to do it, and now he is telling me that he wants to do another one next year. I am so happy to hear that.  He really loved being up on stage I think.  Kylee was so cute in her dress and Kingston in his overalls. Great job kids!

1948 Chev Pick up truck

Here is the piece of junk we bought for $1200. It looks like tow mater from cars to me. Ha ha. This is the exact truck Aaron wanted and got it from Good Guys car show a few weeks ago. He will restore it to look awesome just like he did the Chevelle no doubt about it.  Looks like a lot of work to me!

Willy Wonka Jr. Play practice/ running

It is almost showtime! The kids only have a couple practices left. They have dress rehearsal tomorrow. I have to do their hair and make up. Ha ha. Hopefully it will turn out! This picture was taken this afternoon. Love these cuties! I went for a run around the track while the kids practiced. It was too hot to run fast! 90 degrees

Miss Ava Lou!

Isn't she a doll? She loves to go on walks and eat apples off the tree in the field by our house.

BSS

I was sickened when I drove by BSS yesterday to find that they are painting the beautiful red brick to white! It looks way worse! That place has gone downhill since the new owners have owned this.

New Calling

I got a new calling at church today! They called me to be the Young Women's 2nd counselor! It is funny because I was just called to primary and now I am out! I taught my last primary lesson today to the kids. I taught the 10-11 year old kids. Pretty cool. I like being in YW. Most of my callings as an adult have been in YW.

Service

We spent our morning cleaning the church! This is a good thing for adults and kids! Kingston reminded me that he has cleaned the church before with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rex. I thought that was cool that he remembered that. He said he liked cleaning the church. Kylee was a hard worker too. She was mopping and scrubbing floors. We took the kids to happy donuts afterwards for all their hard work. It was amazing that only 2 families showed up when 30 families were invited to clean the church. Side note too, all the kids that were there cleaning were adopted! Our bishop's family has 3 kids that are all adopted too!  It felt great doing service!
