Wednesday

This picture was taken in front of Lowes. The kids thought it was fun to take a picture on a riding lawnmower. They sure are cute! Kingston had swimming at the YMCA  tonight so I ran and got 2 miles in. Ha ha. 2 boys were messing around walking on the track and came into my lane when I was running and ticked me off so I pushed one of the boys and said, "watch it" Ha ha. They got in trouble by one of the workers that saw it. It reminded me that I am a Stone and don't mess with our running when we are running indoors. I have been on a George Strait kick lately. It seems like every song he ever sang is awesome!! I miss the real country songs on the radio. They play nothing but crap now.

Monday

Boy, it felt like a Monday today! Kingston went to board game/chess camp this morning at Lakeridge middle school. He only has 3 days of it left. He really enjoyed it and I laughed cause he said there were a lot of  "nerds" there. Ha ha. I was at the office all day. Richie is in Utah right now so I had to work. Ha ha. He sure was missed! We are super busy right now.  We had to go to our duplex tonight by costco and weed wack the side yard it was so long and ridiculous. Aaron also fixed the dishwasher brackets and switched out a shower head and put some non slip tape on the front stairs. We picked some yummy rainier cherries from our neighbors tree last night. I love rainier cherries! Anyway, that is about it for now. We are staying busy as ever!

Fun day with Mom

I took the kids to see Incredibles 2 in Bonney Lake theater. It was a cute movie. Afterwards, we decided to go check out the brand new Costco. It was really nice and new! They sell cheeseburgers there at their cafe. They also have self serve kiosks for the food court. Pretty cool! Anyway, it was crazy, because I hear someone say, "Juliet"! I look up and it is Ms. Balzaretti, Kylee's kindergarten teacher!! She heard Kylee's voice and recognized her voice and looked up. It was cool! She was a really great teacher! We will miss her. Kylee was excited to see her. Our 4plex is vacant on June 29th. We are kicking out previous tenants for having a dog and smoking pot on the balcony. Good riddance to them! We already have an application for someone who wants to move in July 1st!! I am so glad. Anyway, summer is officially here and we all slept in like lazy suckers. Happy first day of summer for us! Even though, yesterday was officially the first day of summer. Ha ha.

Saying Goodbye

I went to pick up the kids at the school on their last day today and I wasn't expecting to be bawling! Kingston had to say goodbye to his best friend, Francisco Jara. They had a hard time saying goodbye. Francisco will be moving up north and won't be at the school in the fall and it was pretty heartbreaking. Francisco had tears running down his cheeks and then Kingston started to cry and then I started to cry!! I got Francisco's phone number , but chances are we will never see him again. It is so hard to say goodbye to a good friend, even in 4th grade! I am so glad Kingston is kind to everyone and makes good friends.

Last day of 4th grade and kindergarten!

I took this picture this morning of the cute kids.  I asked them if they were excited it was the last day of school and they both said NO!! Ha ha. They will miss their friends they told me.  Anyway, we have some fun stuff planned this summer and will stay busy. I pick them up at noon today and summer starts! Also, happy birthday to Lisa!

Six fo Chevelle

Six fo Chevelle

Aaron has worked his tail off on this car and today he got to drive it for the first time! He still needs to work out a few things but it is so awesome!! The kids absolutely loved it. After scouts tonight, Kylee said, Can we drive your Chevelle again Dad? I took a sweet video. I will try to upload it here.

Field day/School picnic

It was a scorcher today at the kids school! I volunteered today and it was super hot! I had a lot of fun with the kids. I got the kids McDonalds and they just loved it. Here are a few pictures from today. They have half a day tomorrow getting out at noon. THEN, bring on Summer!!

Kylee's Kindergarten promotion

Kylee did it! She graduated Kindergarten! They have till Thursday until schools out ,but this morning was the promotion. I made scrambled eggs and there was one little boy who went back 3 times to get just my eggs! It was so funny! I do make great eggs if I do say so myself. Thanks Mom!  Anyway, proud  of our girl! She worked really hard this year. She also received the SURVIVOR award for never, ever, ever giving up!  Kids have field day tomorrow which I am volunteering. Should be a fun last few days! On a side note, Kylee was riding her bike last night and crashed pretty hard. She scraped the whole left side of her body including her face on the left side, she has a really bad bruise. poor baby. I got her all cleaned up and gave her a nice bath and she felt better. I hate to see my kids get hurt. This was by far, the worst I have seen her get hurt.  She is a tough girl though! Love her to infinity and beyond!

I am grateful to have such a wonderful Dad and husband.  I also took some pics with Tammy and Mom. Ha ha.

6 miler

Got in another 6.25 miles today. Ran by myself. My friend couldn't meet me today. I love to run! I felt pretty good this morning. I saw Richie driving to work. Easy to spot his car with the yellow car dealer plates. Ha ha. It is Friday! Happy Friday!

Donuts with Dad

The kids had donuts with Dad this morning at their school. They were all excited. As you can see, we are sanding and re painting our deck on the side of our house. Lots of work! Miss Ava Lou got in the photo too! Love her!

Kingston's space needle grade

Kingston got all 4's on his space needle project! I am so proud of him! He worked really hard on this project. He also told me this afternoon  that he will be running for student council president as a 5th grader!!! I am so proud of the decisions he is making and how confident he is. I know he will be great at student council. He is very social and outgoing. GO KINGSTON!!!

Willy Wonka Jr. Theater camp

I was on a wait list for this willy wonka Jr. theater camp for about a month now. They were completely booked up! So, I asked if I could be put on the wait list for cancellations. I got a call today telling me they had 2 openings!! I was so excited for my kids! They have been wanting to sign up since they knew about this! So, they are officially in! The camp runs July 23-August 11th. They will be performing August 11th at two different performances, one at 2 pm and one at 7 pm. I can't wait to tell them after school today! SO excited for them!! Kingston is also taking a chess class the last week of June. The performances will be at the manestage  theatre in Sumner. Right where the High school is.

Wednesday

I went to a chamber of commerce luncheon in Fife this afternoon. The lunch was super delicious and they had a raffle and of course I won!! Ha ha!! I won an american flag, a hat, and cupcakes! I also had to go up in front of a 100 people to speak! I did it with no problem. I went up there, grabbed the mic and started talking. It was crazy, cause I thought I would be nervous, but wasn't! I had to introduce our company and it was great. This is the first luncheon I have been to and it went really well.  Anyway, it was a fun day! School is coming to an end next week for the kids. I love Summertime!! We are still working hard on our yard. It is a lot of work! Also, the chevelle may be driven this weekend! The interior still needs to be done, but Aaron is going to take it for a spin around the block! I am excited for that!

Monday morning run

I finally ran with my friend, Melanie Payne this morning! I met her on the trail. We ran towards Orting. I saw Chanelle driving to school in the green subaru. She never sees me though. Ha ha. It was fun running with her.  We only ran an 8:50 pace and that felt fast for us. Ha ha. We are both not in the best shape right now, but hopefully if we keep it up we will be. She is only a year and a half younger than me. We figured that out on the run today.  We will meet up again of Friday morning to run again. Here is a picture i took right after our run.

Sunday

Happy sabbath all! We had a nice day at church. I got released as a scout leader and called into primary teaching the 10 year olds. I was happy about that.  I still have to finish the last 2 scout meetings and then volunteer at cub scout day camp July 10-13.  Anyway, on to different things! I also took this picture on snap chat and I like it. :) Of course it has a snap chat filter on it so I look flawless. Ha ha. Kind of fun to see  what you look like flawless. Kylee has been feeling sick this past week or so and today during sacrament meeting she fell asleep on me and slept the entire meeting and then she wouldn't wake up! I was trying to get her awake as she was assigned the scripture in primary. Oh well, she needs her rest. Poor little girl. We went out to Iron chef restaurant last night, and the guy cooking at our table threw a hollow egg at Kingston, although, Kingston didn't know it was hollow. Ha ha it was so funny! Here's to a new week!

Ridgecrest Raider Run

I volunteered at the kids' school today for like 5 hours. I helped with the yearly raider run. It was fun seeing all the cute kids giving it there all for a little key chain. Ha ha. There were a lot of really cute kids. I loved the kindergartners the best! They are so cute at that age.  I wish they could stay that age forever! One thing I noticed, the younger kids were more honest than the older kids. 5th and 6th graders were the punks. Ha ha. I would mark their  card every lap they did and some kids were dishonest trying to get more tally marks. I was thinking to myself, boy they are starting young at lying and trying to get away with it.  So sad!  Anyway, I took some pictures. Kylee did 7 laps and Kingston did 8! I was proud of the kids! 4 laps around is one mile. By the way, Dr. Puttler's daughter, Alexis, who is in Kingston's class is the one with her hands on her head. Her Dad did Tammy's surgery.

6 miler

I ran 6 miles this am. My friend, Melanie Payne couldn't meet me after all. Her son was throwing a fit and she had to deal with him. Hopefully on Monday we can run together. Although, distance runners don't need friends. Ha ha. I took this on the bridge.

Cute lil kindergartner

Kylee brought this home from school today. She is so cute. I love that she wrote about our dog. She is a sweetheart. She has been sick this past week. She is fighting a fever and bad cough. Kind of think she got what I had about a month ago. It was bad stuff! Kingston and I are getting ready to go to scouts. We are having an end of the year ice cream party. Should be fun. I also ran 6 miles today and yesterday. I am running with my friend, Melanie Payne in the morning tomorrow. She told me she can't keep up with me and I can run by myself at my own pace and then meet up after the run. I thought that was funny. I am looking forward to our run tomorrow morning!  Super nice weather today. Hope ya'll enjoyed it. Supposed to be nice again tomorrow.

Cute Kylee girl

We took this picture of Kylee after church a few weeks ago! She is a little doll!

Mother's Day

Here is a picture of me and the kids on Mother's day.

Dogg's

Our friend JT stopped by our house yesterday to show us his new dog named Olly. He is a hyper puppy! Kylee was loving it! She was laughing and having fun! Here is a picture of them.

Running and service project

I have been running not everyday but when i get a chance. I love to run!
Kingston and I went last Saturday to remove flags from graves at woodbine cemetary for a service
project we did for scouts. Proud of my boy for doing service and he said he loved it!

17 years

Aaron and I celebrated 17 years of marriage on May 28,2018. We went hiking. Here
are a few pictures of our hike. It was in Eatonville. Richie went with us and we had a blast!

Andrea's latest picture

Here is a picture of Andrea and the latest picture of what she looks like. She is homeless in Orange county California. It breaks my heart to see her look so terrible. To think her own Mother doesn't care about her ,  hurts my heart. Mental illness is no joke. I just wish she could get the help she needs.

Surprise, I am back!

Well, it has been awhile! I love my blog, but it isn't letting me download my pictures from my phone to my blog directly. So frustrating. I will update a few posts here.  We are coming to the end of another school year. Kindergarten graduation for Kylee and 4th grade graduation for Kingston. Kingston just did his presentation today on the Seattle Space Needle! He wrote a report, made a mobile, and did a power point presentation. He told me he did really well and I believe him. He is so smart, I only helped him a little bit with his report and mobile. Kylee has improved a lot in her reading and will be ready to take on 1st grade in the fall.
Business is going well for us. Aaron just did a professional video business card and it is currently on facebook right now under his name. I will see if I can post it here too. The Chevelle is almost ready. Except the interior still needs to be all done, but mechanically, it is cherry!  Aaron started it up the other day and the whole house rumbled. It is a powerful engine! So excited to drive in it this summer hopefully! We have also been busy this past week doing yard work and weed pulling and tree trimming. It is looking really good. Aaron also re did our front outside porch/stairs. He replaced rotten wood and re-stained it. It looks really  nice. Up next, the deck!
