catching up!

I have neglected my blog something fierce! Been busy. So we went up to Canada and at the border the lady was asking us a bunch of questions that were so ridiculous! She asked us what we were doing in Canada,  how many days we were staying there, where we were staying, what we did for a living, is this our truck, do we own guns, we said, "yes" and then she said do you have any guns in the truck? No. Has a gun ever been in your truck? Yeah, so what if it has? Also, I had sunglasses on and she asked me to remove my glasses. She wanted to know if we had a conceal carry permit. It was crazy all the questions she asked. Dustin and Marla were in a separate car and separate line and didn't get any questions like us. So weird. We got in, but what a hassle!  Canada was cool, but I love America way better! Stanley Park was probably my favorite. We went on a cool suspension bridge and hike, that was fun. Also, went whale watching for 5 hours! It was ridiculous to be gone all day on a boat. We saw wild orca's though and that was cool. Not really worth how long we were on the boat though in my opinion. Coming back to the good ol USA it was much easier to get past border patrol. The guy was super nice and said, "welcome back home". Anyway, Marla and Dustin were visiting us for about 5 days and it seemed longer. I don't like anyone staying at my house more than 2 days. I am anti social at heart and don't like to be social. Ha ha.  Anyway, they left on Tuesday morning. The kids have been working hard on their play. Willy wonka Jr. They have one more week of practice and then the production on August 11th at 2 pm and 7 pm. They are playing the candyman/magic kids. It will be in Sumner at the mane stage theater.  Hopefully, you can come watch the kids. They are pretty excited about it! Aaron went to Good Guys car show and ended up buying a 1948 chev pick up truck! It looks a lot like the one we had growing up. It needs a full restoration but that is what Aaron loves to do! So, it is sitting in our lower drive way right now and will stay there for awhile. I have been running every day about 6 miles a day. Cant believe it is August already!  I took a bunch of pics but such a hassle to upload to my blog so I just write. :)
